The doro wat is the closest thing to my mother's I have found outside Gondar. Ask for the group mesob if there are more than four of you.

First time trying Ethiopian food and the staff walked us through the whole platter. The vegan combination was enormous and we still took food home.

Excellent food, but go early on Fridays — the wait hit 45 minutes by 7pm. The coffee ceremony afterwards is worth staying for.
